UHS2021: Evening talks after the show. Sharing experiences.The concept
Since the first festival was carriet out in 2021 the concept for The International Festival for Unique Handbuilt Sportscars has evolved into a broader vision to connect people with the passion to design and built their own sportscars. The aim is to connect people and build new networks, but also to show  the skills, enthusiasm and igenuity in this mixed environment of car building enthusiasts to the public. An even larger perspective for the concept is to bring together the cultural diversities and study their influence into the perspectives for design, art and technology.

The elvolved concept
The festival is organized in two main types of activities. The one is to share and gain more knowledge about technology and design through meetings, lectures and coarses (UHS-the meeting). The other is to create on-site events including exhibition of finished cars or ongoing projects by the attendees of the festival (UHS-the festival). These exhibitions are open to the public.

The challenge of signification
It has been a challenge to draw up the boundaries and at the same time create names or brands, that would cover the activities. The first attempt was "The International Festival for UNIQUE HANDBUILT SPORTSCARS". This designation still exists, but the need for a shorter name has always been present and the abbreviation UHS became brand to remember. Still there was a need to have a significant domain name, and in 2023 the domain name UNIQUEHANDBUILT.COM was aquired and now is in force (pointing you in direction of a landing page for UHS on the platform provinsbyer.dk).
 
If your project is within the boundaries of the festival, you should consider signing up for the next UHS event. The boundaries are defined through the terms: "Handbuilt. Sports Car." - Own design or a recreation of a classic sports- or race car.
